On Wednesday, John Deere confirmed layoffs, citing increased costs tied to trade pressures. At the same time, PepsiCo announced a 10% price hike, meaning grocery bills are about to get even heavier. Over in tech, Sony revealed that U.S. consumers will soon pay $50 more for every PlayStation 5 model. And it’s not just products on shelves electric bills are already up 10% this year, straining family budgets further.
